[sgmb id=”1″]

I wrote an article about the benefits of Parallax websites and posted it on Articles Factory. When i got approval I shared it on different social media networks including LinkedIn (web related groups) and i got some interactions there. On LinkedIn an SEO expert Tim St. John commented on my shared post that Parallax Scrolling is bad for SEO. Here is his exact comment of Tim

And I replied him that how we can get SEO benefits from Parallax Websites. Here I want to talk share my experience that how we can get SEO benefits from parallax websites.

SEO Aspects of Parallax Websites

Now i want to talk about SEO aspects of Parallax Websites, I don’t want to waste your time to discuss about the meanings and functions of Parallax website, we all know about it. I just want to talk that there are no reasons to blame Parallax Scrolling for poor SEO. I am going to share some suggestions to make your SEO campaign best and results oriented for Parallax sites.

Make Separate Inner Pages

If your range of services and products is vast you don’t need to depend on just one page, because it is really bad to build too much backlink against one page. You have option to create separate inner pages against every important product or service you are dealing with. For example your business is related to women apparels and you have hundreds of products. You need to create different pages against every important product like tops, blouse, shirts, shoes, pants accessories etc. In this way you can easy target different keywords and you can write content separately for individual products. Which is really a good practice in SEO and it helps a lot.

On-Page SEO is the Key of Success

Smart SEO experts always start from on-page because they know that without doing on-page SEO they can’t get the benefits of off-page SEO. So be smart and start from on-page, don’t do keywords stuffing and try to write your metas not just for search engines but also for customers. You should keep in mind these points while doing on-page SEO

  • Meta Tag
  • URL Structure
  • Website Content
  • Good call to action
  • Images Alt Tags
  • Internal Linking

Don’t Forget about Blog

If you don’t want to create inner pages then never forget to create a blog on your website (blog.yourwebsite.com) because in this way you can start content marketing which is very effective and reliable source to build quality backlinks and to target different keywords. While doing content marketing you should keep in mind Google Panda updates and never use copied or low quality content. I personally believe that bloggers should write content for readers not only for search engines because ultimately you are talking with readers, customers or visitors not to search engines.

When you follow this rule (write content for readers) obviously search engines will boost your content because your focus is not on covering keywords, you are addressing your readers. Without having a blog you can’t be successful in SEO whether you have parallax website or not.

Should You Follow Parallax Website Trend?

Obviously yes, don’t be afraid from those who are saying that Parallax is not good for SEO. Follow the above mentioned points and you will enjoy its benefits. Parallax websites are very attractive and easy for users to find out all the important information on same page. If you have limited products and services then surely you should develop Parallax websites.
